Sealing stamped concrete patio is one of the most popular finishes for outside patios. It is available in many beautiful designs, surfaces with patterns and colors that each offer an elegant and stylish ambience. Stamped concrete is also very durable under all weather conditions, making it an investment worthwhile to make. This type of terrace material requires minimal maintenance.
You do not need much when it comes to cleaning your stamped concrete. Dilute a liquid detergent with water to quickly and efficiently remove spilled material, dirt and dust. Use a brush to scrub away and then rinse thoroughly with a garden hose. Make sure to wash away all traces of soap to avoid whitish areas when the terrace dries. Leave at least 24 hours to allow the terrace to dry naturally. If you want it to dry before, use a leaf blower. You can also clean stamped concrete with a pressure washer.

Avoid using salt during the winter. This can result in flaking, flakes and other surface damage due to the increased freeze-thaw cycles. This provides extra pressure and tension on your concrete. When removing ice, use a plow or snow shovel with metal edges as this can cause damage to crushed surfaces.
