Outdoor concrete resurfacing is a relatively inexpensive durable surface material, making it ideal for outdoor applications such as patios, pool decks, driveways and sidewalks, as well as interior surfaces such as floors, walls and counters. However, while it resists wear fairly well, it can begin to show its age over time with chipping, discoloration and stains. Self-leveling overlays allow for a perfectly smooth surface, but you can choose to engrave them with different patterns and designs for a more decorative look. A stamped overlay allows for the resurfacing of a concrete surface with a thin layer of cement, usually between ¼- and ¾-inch thick.
